Yes, the button text can be customized via ASA2’s translation feature. The language keys „buy_on_amazon“ and „view_on_amazon“ are used for the button texts depending on the button’s target.
Changing these language values is update-safe. If you edit them, your changes will be preserved after an ASA2 update.
I started working on AmazonSimpleAdmin back in 2007 because I could not find an Amazon plugin for WordPress that met my requirements. After many years of experience and hard work, the complete new ASA 2 Pro was released in early 2016.
